Please print the registration packet (see link below), review all the information. Print and fill out the first page, scan it or take a picture of it and send it via email to [email protected] or via text to 323-596-7686. If you don't have access to a printer, you could stop by at our next registration event and pick up the package.

What happens at Parent Orientation?

What’s the Region Board doing?
Immediately after the last registration date, your Region Board begins the process of putting the teams together for the upcoming season. When this is completed, the uniforms will be ordered and the coaches will be notified.
When do the coaches get their teams?
Coaches should expect to receive their team rosters the week of July 25th - July 29th.
When do the players get called?
Teams begin practicing between August 8th and August 19th .Practices are held twice a week (field and times to be determined by your child’s coach). Games will be on Fridays or Saturdays with the first game on September 10th. Games and practices will be held at a field in Lynwood Park and Hamm Park. Coaches will give you all the information you will need in regards to practice times and location.
It’s after Aug. 1, and my child has not been called. What do I do?
Please do not panic if you see teams practicing and your child has not been called. Not all teams begin practice at the same time. Also some coaches may be out of town. There might also be the possibility that your child is currently in a team that doesn't have a Coach. Please VOLUNTEER! It will have a great impact in your child's life!

What else does my child need?
Registered players are required to wear soccer shoes (cleats) , shin guards at every practice and games. They must bring a soccer ball (size depends on age) and a water bottle to every practice.
How often are practices and games?

Refund?
Refund request must be submitted online thru our website www.ayso1288.org
1. Registration fee is non-refundable once your child has been placed on a team.
2. Deadline to request a refund is July 15. No refunds after this date UNLESS a player registers AFTER July 15 and the Region is unable to place child in a team. In this case a full refund will be processed.
3. If your child drops before being assigned to a team, a $20.00 processing fee is non-refundable.
4. If, in the rare event, that Lynwood AYSO Region 1288 is unable to place your child on a team, you will receive a full refund.
5. All refunds will be processed after October 31st. Refunds will be mailed out or can be picked up after that date.

AYSO is a parent-based volunteer organization established to provide a positive experience for our children. Go to the games. Learn the rules. Above all, be tolerant of the children’s coaches and referees mistakes and weaknesses.
